Lucky Enough

Sun’s comin’ up again, didn’t sleep last night

Head’s spinnin’ from the rush, never satisfied

When empty rooms are all we know, and the broken bottles go to show

No one’s home

Stumble through another day in this hollow town

Restless, weary bones make a sound

That’s scratchin’ at our ears, it’s the core of all our fears

When no one’s home

Forever stoned

Why do we try to lose our minds?

Makin’ up words we can’t define

We are lucky enough to be alive

So why do we try to lose our minds?

Runnin’ does no good from the things to come

Fate’s just fictional, we’re the only ones

Who can lead us ‘till we grow in that old scenario

When no one’s home

Forever stoned

Why do we try to lose our minds?

Makin’ up words we can’t define

We are lucky enough to be alive

So why do we try to lose our minds?

I’m learning as I go, how to feel it out

We play a dirty game, it’s time to end it now

It will permeate into our souls once we learn we gotta take control

Now someone’s home

We’re not alone

Why do we try to lose our minds?

Makin’ up words we can’t define

We are lucky enough to be alive

So why do we try to lose our minds? (2x)
