Informed by an upbringing in the mountains of Idaho and a cross-country leap to study songwriting and performance at Berklee College of Music, Steph Sloan has birthed her own unique style of musical storytelling.

Her childhood passion of drumming and singing along to old jazz records informs her rhythmic phrasing tendencies, and her honest, sometimes heart-wrenching lyrics are effortlessly carried melodically by her pure, matchless voice.

Steph’s writing has been compared in sensibility to John Mayer, Paul Simon, Phoebe Bridgers, Allen Stone, Kacey Musgraves, and Liz Longley.
